Rosanna and Owl is a modern-day fairy tale based on the ancient ways of travelling through time and space as do so many classic children's' stories. Rosanna has a problem she can't solve. Her two best friends have grown to hate each other. Seeing her troubles, an Owl appears out of nowhere and takes her on seven adventures that point towards a solution, but not in a direct path. Owl takes her to animals and powerful beings who test her and give her magical gifts. On Earth, she encounters a playful otter, a mysterious big woman, a panther and a crazy coyote. In deep space, she visits a celestial wizard, a powerful queen and the very first drum. By the end, Rosanna learns how to move in and out of this magic reality and how she might bring her two best friends back together. Rosanna and Owl is illustrated in eight wonderful drawings by Kathleen M. Forster.
