Prairie Boomer: Farm Boy Memories Brian W Hesje

Brian was asked by his daughter to write a book about his childhood on the farm so his grandchildren knew more about the family history. People born in 1946 until 1964 are called "baby boomers". I was born in 1946 and left the farm in 1964. It seemed natural to name the book "Prairie Boomer". It defines the way I was raised, where I grew up, and what I learned through all the years. Life on the farm shaped me in countless ways; some I'm aware of, and others I'm just starting to realize. And I am sure it shaped me in numerous ways I will never realize. When I go back to the farm today, over 70 years later, much is the same. I hope my memories bring back memories for you and help you appreciate the importance of history.
