When materials scientists in dentistry turn to usenanofiller in composites because of their superbproperties, rather than microfiller in dentalrestorations, they are also facing a series of newchallenges. This book reviews dental materials thatare currently used in the industry. It presents themethods of fabricating a type of novel high elasticmodulus dental resin nanocomposites, and investigatestheir mechanical properties including thevisco-elastic properties associated with fillerloading and coupling agents by nanoindentation.
