In the dissertation emphasis has been placed on the determination of parameters ie.,density, viscosity, refractive index and speed of sound which are industrially important. Linear and non linear Ultrasound techniques have been applied on the liquid mixtures. Various thermodynamical and non linear parameters have been evaluated based on which inter and intra molecular interactions and complex formation have been analysed. Several Ultrasonic theoretical models have been tested for various liquid mixtures. Their applicability to chemical industries have been evaluated.
