Bio-fertilizers Consortium for Growth Promotion in Coffee M. Thangaraju

This book throws light on the importance of using biofertilizers in combination for effective improvement of coffee growth and also vigour of the seedlings at the nursery stage. This is a carrier based microbial product which contains N fixing, P & Zn solubilizing and plant growth promoting microbes. The specialty of this product is that farmers need not to apply N fixing, phosphorous solubilizing and growth promoting bacteria individually. Apart from improving growth, the bioinoculants have the dual role of reducing coffee root lesion nematode and inducing host plant tolerance to coffee leaf rust disease infection.
