To make decisions on mechanization should be reinforced in different geographical areas is very important to know the baseline, which is not always possible due to lack of reliable statistics, even in countries with more developed. This work Jaime Cuauhtémoc Negrete, whom I met for their publications related to tractors potential demand in Mexico tends to fill a gap with information that may serve as a reference for rationally promote mechanization of Mexican agriculture, and other countries with similar environmental conditions of development and the industrial sector to establish their global strategies. In the text, after addressing the issues that determine the agricultural mechanization, and analysis of the political situation affecting the sector, the strategies of the different manufacturers are discussed, not only in the country but in their overall development.
