Geography of Everyday Life: the Method of Personal Daily Life Zone (Zpc)
Kelton Gabriel
The ZPC is formed by points of consistence (e.g.: house, school, work) and psychological paths, which the individual takes daily and which connect points. The net formed by the points of consistence and the psychological paths, because of the conditions of post-modernity, become more and more fragmented. In this context, the modules of connection appear (collective and private vehicles). The modules of connection isolate the individual from the space creating an intra-module space (movable space), also part of the ZPC. The present study show the conception of the Method of ZPC. This way this study contributes to the construction of Geographies of Everyday Life, where the knowledge of the daily life is after all initiated from the subjective analyses of the geographical space.
