?I beleive that the situation of gays in Greece is shameful for them?there is no decency in Greek gay life?disgrace is part of gay culture?(Petros,2004) In this book, I am scrutinizing the structures which have determined the construction of gender and sexuality in Greece,to reveal why they have led to the marginalization of Contemporary Athenian homosexuals. Moreover, I am analyzing whether Athenian homosexuals reproduce these homophobic structures or subvert them to produce counter- structural possibility.
