New Jersey Exile is an auto biographical account of a journey through the music industry, from the days of vynyl to the present. A pro guitarist since 15yrs old, Ben Markus managed to get his debut album signed to PYE as an artist in his own right in 1983. Many albums followed with varying degrees of success but this story is about much more including chapters of his ten years serving as a Fireman on a busy city station, being a father, (at one point having all 4 of his children on a number of recordings and albums) and includes his battle with cancer in 2012.
