Artistic existence in the lyrics of Russian symbolists Irina Kuleshova

The creative heritage of K. Balmont and V. Brusov is undoubtedly of interest for researchers today. Given the unique individuality of each of them, their lyrics are brought closer not only to the historical epoch, the poetic movement to which they belonged, but also to the aesthetic program realized in artistic creation. K. Balmont and V. Bryusov, outlining their understanding of symbolism in literary and critical articles, come to similar conclusions: valuable is art based on "a special irrational form of knowledge of the world", which is associated with the concept of ideal artistic existence. Comparative research of K. Balmont's and V. Brusov's lyrics in the aspect of the problem of "artistic being" allows not only to rethink the principles of construction of artistic universes, but also to reveal the main features of the relationship between the author's worldview and the creation created by him.
