This book is addressed to teenage mothers and their parents; to teachers and professionals in physical, mental and behavioral health; to social scientists, sociologists, anthropologists and social workers and to all those who feel committed to the eradication of teenage pregnancy and motherhood. It is a call to social conscience and to the institutions and authorities in charge of generating and implementing educational, social and public health policies, in order to comply with the human rights of minors and the obligations we have as a state, to offer scientific information and comprehensive sex education, which will allow young women to break the cycle of poverty and violence and to access the enjoyment of their rights to education, harmonious development and full physical, mental, emotional and spiritual maturity.
