This work analyzes films that use the theatrical language in their staging. The dialogue between cinema and theatre takes place since the first moving images were created. This intertextuality presented different degrees of approximation. In its beginning, most of the films developed from the theater of attractions, with the passage of time the cinema creates its own language through different frames, camera movements among other techniques. The objective of this text is to point out the dialogue between the theater and cinema within the specificities that involve these two languages.
