Biotechnological potential of calcareous orange fungi

Presents this study in an unprecedented way the aim of drying the skin of C. limettioides Tan. Application of mathematical models, quantification of phenolic and total flavonoid content and evaluation of antimicrobial potential of a stable nanoemulsion using a low energy method. Through the results obtained, it was found that the logarithmic mathematical model was the one that best fit the experimental data. The quantified total phenolic content was 75,124 mg EAT g-1 and flavonoids 99.22 mg EQT g-1. OE and nanoemulsion showed fungicidal activity against all tested microorganisms. The results obtained demonstrate and promote the potential required for the application of OE and nanoemulsion of C. limettioides Tan skin as antimicrobial agents.
