The death of the teacher Socrates is an important event in the history of philosophy, this event is explained from the historical, cultural and philosophical; it is a new rereading and interpretation of this event from the contributions that the philosopher Hegel makes to the history of philosophy and in particular to the idea of freedom, who determines that the facts in history are necessary and inevitable; from this vision the death of Socrates is presented related to the idea of freedom, idea that has been manifested in the peoples throughout history.
