Study of 4 species of the genus Cecropia Loefl. in Yarinacocha, Peru Víctor Araujo Abanto

The present research work was carried out in the secondary forests around Lake Yarinacocha in Pucallpa - Peru, for which botanical collections of the species of the genus Cecropia Loefling were made at different times of the year, in order to have vegetative and reproductive organs for identification, as the species of this genus are dioecious and observe the differences in both sexes. The study corresponds to a descriptive research, for data collection is necessary direct observation of the species under study, the population corresponded to all species of the genus Cecropia Loefling located around Lake Yarinacocha, which managed to find four species, of all the specimens collected from the genus that had very different characteristics from each other, and were in the process of flowering and / or fruiting, which was our botanical sample for the study. According to the taxonomic identification carried out, they correspond to the following species: Cecropia englerian C. latiloba, C. membranacea and C. sciadophylla, thus elaborating a dispersion map.
