In a world in full energy transition, the developed countries accumulate strategic reserves in order to periodically compensate for a possible crisis thanks to the methods of underground storage of energy resources. The reason why we have articulated this work around the simulation of underground gas storage in a depleted reservoir in order to highlight the main mechanisms of flow and conservation of gas in a depleted reservoir and to determine the conditions for an optimal storage.
