This research questions the practices of professional intervention with girls, boys and adolescents within the framework of the institutional device Family Meeting Point of the city of Mar del Plata. Based on this, the process of implementation of the device is surveyed as a new intervention scenario and the interventions carried out by the interdisciplinary team that integrates it are analyzed, particularly characterizing the work of the social worker. Likewise, emphasis is placed on the actions of the professionals aimed at guaranteeing the enjoyment of the right of children and adolescents to a full family life.
