"Who's art for? Art workers against exploitation" collects works and essays by fifteen artists, researchers and art professionals dedicated to the exploitation of artistic work and the complex sustainability of practices in the sector. The publication is part of a broader framework of actions undertaken by Impasse (Irene Pittatore and Nicoletta Daldanise) from 2014 with the project R-set / Tools for cultural workers, to promote a supportive approach between art and culture professionals and combat their isolation and exploitation, in dialogue with institutions, professionals from different sectors and the art public. _ This book is in English and Italian _ Who's art for? The sustainability of cultural work (how to allow those who "do culture" to have their work recognised and remunerated) is central to the reflections on culture and its ability to generate value (for individuals, for communities, whether economic or not).(Paola Dubini)
