Aarniometsän uumenissa kukoistaa Mikko Menninkäisen puutarha. Siellä hän ahkeroi ystävänsä Milla Myyrän kanssa ja kasvattaa monenmoisia herkkuja muullekin metsän väelle. Paikalle lehahtava ihana perhonen sekoittaa menninkäisen suunnitelmat, ja puutarha täytyy herkästä kukkaloistosta.
