It tells us the story of Sata and her quiet rebellion against her husband; it is the story of Wara and her hot tempered man, Yembeh; of Lamin, the journalist and the beautiful Maimuna who hatched a plan to get back at the men who hurt her; and of Koth Yaro and Mr. Sahr, two friends dedicated to the pleasures of the flesh.
