My family and I sitting in our seats as Dr. Cavazos talked to us, it felt like I was day-dream-ing. Had my wonder-ful oncolo-gist just told my family that my cancer was com-pletely gone? Judging my the fact that my wonder-ful and amazing parents, as well as my wonder-ful older brother, Jeff, were smiling, wiping away the happy tears that were flowing down their cheeks. Due to this, I began to cry, too. As my family and engulfed me in a big hug, I could not deny that this happy piece of news that I had been waiting years to hear was my new reality!
