Jonathan is a timid, twelve-year-old boy who faces the common challenges that many young boys face today such as dealing with bullies, school, and fitting in. Sad and lonely, Jonathan leads a reclusive life without friends. Suddenly, his world is turned upside down when a mysterious new student comes to school named Tyson. Tyson carries within him a paramount secret that unexpectedly sends Jonathan and Tyson on an incredible journey across the world battling evil wizards, warriors, centaurs, and even a dragon. They become entrenched in a hidden, ongoing war between wizards that has lasted hundreds of years. They are joined by the beautiful female warrior Astra and Aspen, the leader of a powerful sect of wizards known as the Vanguards. Their mission is to stop the evil wizard Nimbus whose plan is to destroy the world so he can recreate it in his own image. Through it all, Jonathan and Tyson build a special friendship that gives them strength and courage to battle their enemies (and their past). Yet, even with all their efforts, it is uncertain that will be enough to stop the omnipotent Nimbus.
