Tbe end left tneir naming and arrangement to tile present editor, with t/ze suggestion tizal tiley s/zould be added as Book [i]: to future editions of Underwoods. T bis suggestion it is proposed to carry out; but in tbe meantime, for t/ze benefit of tnose possess Underwoods in its original form, it bas been tbaugbt desirable to publisb tbem separately in tbe present volume. T lzey nave already been included in t/ze Edinburgb Edition of the autbor's.
