The Madonna of the Coronavirus
Lev Kushner
Titian's Madonna of the Rabbit has disappeared from the Louvre in Paris, France, and, as it turns out, the famous painting might be the only hope for a world being ravaged by the coronavirus pandemic. Only two people - a testy, 30-year-old French police officer named Anne and a 45-year-old, klutzy art critic from the Louvre named Mark - have any hope of finding and returning the painting to the museum. Their journey will take them all across Europe, to the epicenter of the pandemic, Venice, and the very cathedral where Titian is buried, in search of his greatest masterpiece - humanity's last hope against the virus that is devastating the globe.
