Writings I've collected over my years of traveling, and love, and heartbreak. Mixed with some photography and poetry. Excerpt: The Time I Almost Climbed Mt. Fuji "Do you know what it's like to climb a mountain? If you've never done it let me tell you the stages of emotions you'll go through. One: starting the climb, you're like okay I've got this. It's not too bad. Two: Your first incline, that took some work, but I'm good. Let me just catch my breath for a second and keep going. Three: You're a couple miles in, breathing heavy, sweating a bit. Thinking turning around doesn't seem like a terrible idea. But you keep going, so you don't look like a little bitch. Four: You're wishing an animal would just come and eat your face. You find a deserted road, you lay down on the gravel and hope that some passing bus will run you over."
