Murder Goes on Vacation Dj Piper

Fresno Police Detective Scott McGregor was looking forward to an exciting weekend with his girlfriend in Las Vegas, until a suspicious death changed his plans. When the death is determined to be from unnatural causes, the detective's best friend, a computer expert, is asked to consult on the case, leaving McGregor to investigate outside the law. McGregor knows his detective skills would be valuable, but he has no jurisdiction in Vegas and is warned repeatedly not to interfere. With his hands officially tied, the binds chafe his behavior but not his determination. His unofficial investigation uncovers greed, lust, and betrayal, but he must dig deeper to determine the true motive for murder. Detective McGregor and his girlfriend intended to spend their vacation together, but he loses sight of their relationship while working the case.
