Eve's Daughters chronicles the lives of six generations of women in one Kentucky family. These women, with great courage and perseverance, sustained their families and carried them into the future. They knew the sameness of having and raising children and of hard work. Yet, they also knew and adjusted to extraordinary changes over time in how one lived and prospered. The Holt women's stories are stories of faith, hope, strength, endurance, and love. They are remembrances of where we, as Americans, came from, how we got here, and who we are.
