Leonardo's Labyrinth
George Herman
Invited by the King of France to come and be in residence at his court, an aging leonardo da Vinci turns his back on Italy and the constant wars, says his farewells to his friends and associates including the Bergamini diplomat Niccolo da Pavia and settles into a new world. Provided with a comfort and security he has neverknown before, he is nevertheless enmeshed in a Vatican plot and a secret organization centered on John the Baptis. Failing eyesight and a paralysis of his right hand do not prevent him from designing a unique labyrinth to the king's specification before he weakens, dies and experiences an entirely new form of existence.
