As the author addressed in her first collection, "We're All Stories in the End: These Poems are My Rising Action", every story has a few key parts. Not every story has an interesting start (or rising action) or a happy ending for that matter, and until we experience it, there's no way to know what life has in store. In her most recent work, Michelle explores the "in-between" parts of life--those experiences that seem like they are just getting us from Point A to Point B--but really, these moments are the best part.
