Graciela had a very good childhood. Her parents were wonderful people who lived for her and her brother. She lived in the sierras and learned from early in life that she loved her life surrounded of nature. At the age of 8, she wrote her first poem to the place she was living, she was inspired by the beauty. Her world changed when her family moved to the big city of Buenos Aires, where she suffered a tragedy which rocked her heart and soul. Her life was changed forever in a second. Her resilience and will to live, guided her during the struggle and change. Her family was not aware of what had happened and she endured years of torture.
