As the lead fuel clerk at the Paos Grocery store, Creek River's life should be somewhat of a gas. Pumping up her customers should be priorities, but priorities take back seat when engaging in a running feud for control of the Box and control of her sanity with the infamous Joe Jernigan. Furthering Creek's woes is the presence of a stalker who is determined to make Creek his own private riverbed. And her request for police protection seems to be a folly as the stalker eludes all attempts to bring his reign of terror to an end. Throw in a hillbilly, a cross-dresser and an Elvis wanna be, and you my friend have fun, puns, and pranks galore as Creek struggles to retain her wit and face her intruding pursuer in a stunning conclusion.
