Moses: The epic journey to freedom, is designed to give your children a FUN introduction to this popular Old Testament story. This is an adventurous story which I remember being read to me as a child. As interesting as it was to listen then, I thought it would be even more delightful if the stories were to rhyme in the same manner as Nursery Rhymes do. My children love it! Studies have demonstrated that the better children are at detecting rhymes the quicker and more successful they will be at learning to read (Bradley, 1988c, Bradley & Bryant, 1983, Ellis & Large, 1987). Isn't that wonderful?!
Each story contains valuable lessons which children can discuss and learn from. My vision for this series is to serve as a guide to children as they chart their moral course. In so doing values such as kindness, caring, gratitude and obedience, just to name a few, can be instilled and encouraged to blossom.
