The Freewheelers are Gina, Mandy and Claire. A girls gang who always repeat their sacred oath before starting on a new adventure: "We solemnly swear to seek adventure excitement and danger and to rescue anyone in peril." They live in the small seaside town of Coombe Bay. When they discover a baby seal on the beach which died because it got trapped in plastic rubbish, they decide that it is up to the Freewheelers to do something to save the creatures of the sea from plastic pollution. But as usual their brilliant plans go spectacularly wrong! Their biggest problem is a Princess who has come to the seaside on holiday. She attracts disasters wherever she goes, and somehow the Freewheelers find themselves responsible for saving her. Will their plans end in triumph - or will they have to leave town to escape the fury of the people of Coombe Bay?
