Everyone is susceptible to trouble. We are not exempt because of who or what we are. Problems come to each of us. It doesn't mean God has forgotten us or we've sinned, Satan will use these times to convince us that God doesn't care about us. That is a lie, God does care, but as we fight to overcome trouble or grieve a loss, sometimes we don't think clearly. The knowledge is still there, but grief and anxiety clouds our perspective.
