This is the season to be encouraged! The Lord desires to edify, exhort, and comfort His people (1 Corinthians 14:3). We are commanded to edify one another daily (Hebrews 3:13). This book is a tool to encourage your soul. There are many obstacles to our encouragement in the Lord. Jesus defined them as "the cares of this world "(Matthew 13:22). There are many ways in which we areentangled by sin and the cares of this life. Many of us are burdened down by our jobs, marriages, kids, family, finances, or something else that distracts us fromexperiencing the joy of the Lord. The cares of this world choke out the Word of God in our lives. If we are not watchful the cares of this world will open the door to a choking (or python) spirit to come into our lives. A python is a snake that slowly suffocates its prey. A python spirit is an unclean spirit that desires to slowly suffocate us until we feel helpless and in greatdistress without any hope in the world. It can be easy to find oneself feeling like the world is caving in on every side. Spiritual claustrophobia can cause stress, asthma, pneumonia, depression, and many other sicknesses anddiseases. It can cause us to feel we are struggling in the darkness and cannot find our way to the light of Christ. This book is designed to teach us how to live a victorious life! It is designed to lead us out of the desert. It is a roadmap out of wandering in the wilderness. It is a path from darkness to the marvelous light
