Kata Bunkai, Kanku Sho, Chatan Yara no Kushanku Helmut Kogel

Kanku Sho is a kata practised in Shotokan Karate. In this second volume, the applications of the Kata Kanku Sho and the Chatan Yara no Kushanku are presented. The applications of Kanku Sho provide simple and pragmatic combinations for self-defence. For the presentation of the bunkai, new graphic animations were used and special emphasis was placed on realistic interpretation relevant to practice. These explanations should serve as an incentive for a deeper introduction to the bunkai of the kata using the example of Kushanku. The bunkai variations presented here go far beyond the usual.
