It was originally published in 1879 and since then there have been other editions published by Borgo Press in 2002 in London, England. Set in Venice, Italy, The Haunted Hotel tells the mysterious tale of a haunting in the Palace Hotel after the death of Lord Montberry. The late Lord Montberry supposedly haunts the hotel where Agnes Lockwood, Henry Westwick, Stephen Westwick, Countess Narona, Emily Ferrari, and Francis Westwick have come to dig into the mysterious death. Terror fills the hotel as dark and strange occurrences begin to take fold.
