This is a 21,000 word, large font book about matters that have something to do with Spanish history. It is not a history of Spain. This first edition is comprised of two sections: The Spanish-American War of 1898 and the brutal Spanish Civil War of 1936-1939. The section on the Spanish-American War is written mostly from the American perspective, but the section on the Spanish Civil War (3/4 of the book) is definitely not.
