Alice Cooper | Along Came A Spider & Welcome 2 My Nightmare (2026 Vinyl Reissues)
The Architect of Shock Rock, Alice Cooper, is set to reissue two of his late-career highlights, "Along Came A Spider" (2008) and "Welcome 2 My Nightmare" (2011), on vinyl in 2026. This release marks a highly anticipated moment for collectors, as both albums have been out of print on vinyl for over a decade, making original pressings some of the most sought-after and expensive items in the Cooper secondary market. The new reissue of "Along Came A Spider" is especially noteworthy, as it will feature the original artwork not used in the original strictly limited vinyl edition from 2008.
Furthermore, both albums have been expanded for the new reissues. "Along Came A Spider" contains 3 bonus tracks, while "Welcome 2 My Nightmare" contains a whopping 7 bonus tracks.
"Along Came A Spider" is a chilling concept album that follows the diary of a serial killer named Spider. Often regarded as one of Alice Cooper's most cohesive modern works, it fits into his discography as a spiritual successor to his early 70s theatricality, blending hard rock with a noir-inspired narrative. Its return to vinyl is the first since its original 2008 release.
"Welcome 2 My Nightmare" serves as the official sequel to his 1975 landmark masterpiece, "Welcome to My Nightmare". Reunited with legendary producer Bob Ezrin, Cooper crafted a sprawling, eclectic journey through a new set of dreams and delusions. The album features guest appearances from Rob Zombie, Kesha, and the original members of the Alice Cooper Band. With the last major vinyl pressing occurring in 2011, this reissue brings a fan-favorite chapter of the Alice Cooper mythos back to turntables for a new generation.
