Charley Crockett | Age of the Ram
"Age of the Ram" marks the sweeping final chapter in Charley Crockett’s ambitious Sagebrush Trilogy. Co-produced alongside longtime collaborator Shooter Jennings, the album completes a three-act narrative arc that began with "Lonesome Drifter" and continued through "Dollar a Day."
Spanning 20 tracks, "Age of the Ram" expands Crockett’s signature blend of outlaw country, Americana, and folk noir into a fully realized concept record — one that ties together characters, themes, and storylines introduced across the trilogy. Where earlier installments traced the journey of a wandering drifter and a hardened survivor, this final act embodies the emergence of the outlaw: a figure shaped by hardship, myth, and the restless pursuit of identity.
Recorded at Sunset Sound in Los Angeles during late 2025 sessions, the album captures live-feeling performances anchored by acoustic textures, vintage arrangements, and widescreen storytelling.
