The Ryder Cup takes centre stage in this 2011 edition of the long-running Tiger Woods Golf series from EA Sports.

Bringing together the best European and American golfers for team competitions, The Ryder Cup is one of sports most prestigious events. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11 focuses on this competition, allowing players to choose players from the U. S. and European squad and compete in various Ryder Cup competition formats. These include foursomes, where players each hit alternate shots, fourballs and more traditional singles matches where players go head-to-head. When golfing offline, players also have the ability to switch between various ongoing games, helping to decide the outcome of each Ryder Cup match in progress.

In a first for the Tiger Woods series, players can now join up to 24 other players in head-to-head matches as members of an online team. Players can also take their own team online to face others.
