Made-for-TV musical adaptation of Elmer Rice's classic play. Broadcast in June 1956, Doretta Morrow plays Nell Valentine, a young schoolteacher who sets off on an adventure to Europe. While on her trip, she meets fellow American Ray Binton (Keith Andes) and the pair quickly fall in love.

However, as the couple continue on their journey together, secrets from Ray's past begin to emerge which could put their romance in jeopardy.
