The Chinese Princess Turandot sends several suitors to the guillotine before meeting one with a hidden identity who knows the answers to her riddles. Before revealing the identity of the suitor, a slave girl takes her own life. The princess sees her mistake and reveals her love for the suitor and is married to him. Directed by Chinese film director Yimou (RAISE THE RED LANTERN).
