VH1's musical documentary program STORYTELLERS is a sort of cross between MTV's UNPLUGGED (an acoustic performance showcase) and VH1's own BEHIND THE MUSIC (a biography-documentary series.) This particular episode tackles the famously controversial psychedelic rock band the Doors, 30 years after the death of their legendary singer-poet, Jim Morrison. With the three remaining members gathered in the VH1 studios, STORYTELLERS delves into the background of several hit Doors songs and brings them to new life by joining more recent rock singers (including Ian Astbury of the Cult and Scott Weiland of the Stone Temple Pilots) with the original band. This release includes two bonus tracks: 'Wild Child' and 'Riders on the Storm'.
