Pete Townshend
British rocker Pete Townshend, one of the leaders of the legendary British Invasion band The Who, has been working on his experimental piece, LIFEHOUSE, since the 1970's. Though it premiered in a small London theatre in 1971, the piece could not be fully realized until 2000 when the appropriate sound technology for its performance was finally invented. Recorded and filmed at London's Sadler's Well Theatre on February 25th and 26th, MUSIC FROM LIFEHOUSE is the production of 30 years of creativity.
