One of the most acclaimed violinists of the 20th century, Yehudi Menuhin performs works by Mendelssohn, Brahms, Sarasate and Bazzini. Directed by Paul Gordon, the concert was recorded in 1947 when Menuhin was at the pinnacle of his fame, at a fresh-faced 32 years of age. He is joined by the Symphony Orchestra of Hollywood, conducted by Antal Dorati.
