Deathdream (aka Dead of Night) Bob Clark

Horror directed by Bob Clark. American soldier Andy Brooks (Richard Backus) is fatally wounded while serving in Vietnam but he manages to find a way to stay among the living, fulfilling the promise he made to his mother that he would come home. Later, when he begins to display strange and violent behaviour, it soon becomes clear that he will need to keep rejuvenating himself with human blood if he is to sustain his decaying body.

The cast also includes Lynn Carlin and John Marley.
