In AVANTI, a stuffy American tycoon goes to Italy to collect the body of his father but there he discovers that his father had a mistress and that she died in the same crash which killed him. In IRMA LA DOUCE, a prostitute called Irma falls in love with an English lord who is not all he appears to be. The lord is really Irma's business manager who wants to keep her all to himself. In KISS ME, STUPID, a famous singer stops for fuel on the way to a new venue. The garage attendant offers his wife up for an affair if he will sing one of his songs. In ONE, TWO, THREE, an American executive in West Berlin tries to sell Coca-Cola to the Russians. At the same time he's hoping to prevent his boss's dumb-blonde daughter from marrying an East German Communist or else he'll have to quickly convert the would-be groom to Capitalism before her parents arrive. In SOME LIKE IT HOT, two musicians are forced to go on the run from gangsters and end up posing as women in an all-girl band, which includes Marilyn Monroe.
