Jim Jarmusch writes and directs this cult comedy drama featuring three stories that take place during the same night in Memphis, Tennessee. A Japanese couple obsessed with rock'n'roll paying a visit to Elvis' home, Graceland, an Italian widow due for a surprise encounter with the 'King' himself and an inept gang of thugs seeking refuge after a liquor store robbery all pass through the Arcade Hotel. The cast includes Youki Kudoh, Masatoshi Nagase, Nicoletta Braschi, Joe Strummer, Steve Buscemi, Screamin' Jay Hawkins and Cinqué Lee.
