The Dogs Of War Unk

Christopher Walken and Tom Berenger star in this war drama directed by John Irvin. Mercenary James Shannon (Walken) is approached by wealthy British businessman Roy Endean (Hugh Millais) to overthrow an African dictatorship in order to allow him to install a puppet government and exploit the country's resources. Despite knowing that the chances of a successful coup are unlikely Shannon agrees after negotiating a substantial reward.

However, as Shannon recruits a band of mercenaries and equips them with an arsenal of modern weaponry he finds himself battling with his own conscience as much as the government forces.
